Employment & Volunteer Information for Child Safety Requirements
The “Safe Environment” Procedure must be complete BEFORE beginning work with children. The Archdiocesan policy states: All people working as an employee or volunteer in an Archdiocesan school must have completed the EApps background check on the Archdiocesan web page, a CANTS background check, a Code of Conduct, Fingerprinting (employee only), and Virtus Training.
To complete the Eapps Background check :
Print out the Employment Eligibility Verification, Federal W4, and the Illinois W4
Read, sign and return the signed forms to the school office.
