Your student only needs to stay for their ensemble’s marked time above. Students can wear comfortable clothes to the dress rehearsal. They do not need to wear their concert attire.
Concert Information:
Students can begin arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the concert. Students should be in concert dress, and in their seats no later than 10 minutes prior to down beat. Concerts will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
Concert Attire:
Girls: Black dress pants (or skirts – must be knee length or longer), black socks/stockings/tights, black dress shoes (closed toed), and white shirt/blouse/dress shirt – long black dress past the knee is acceptable – minimal jewelry
** Leggings are not acceptable as pants **
Boys: Black dress pants, black dress socks/black socks above the ankle, black
dress shoes, white button down shirt (tie/bow tie optional) Items to bring to the dress rehearsal/concert:
Your student should bring their instrument, music, and music stand to the concert.
Dress Rehearsal/Concert Attendance:
Each of our students play a vital role in our concerts, and our concerts are the pinnacle of their progress to showcase to family and friends. Concerts are required for all students to attend, unless otherwise formally excused by the band director. Excusable absences to either the dress rehearsal or concert include family emergencies, family/student illness, and/or vacations. Communication is key should any conflict should arise.
